The magical ingredients of community

You’re on the fun version of the site. Switch language for the serious stuff.

Picking the Right Crew

We don’t just throw open the gates and hope for the best - community life works a lot better when the mix of people is intentional. That’s why we carefully read application forms (yes, we actually read them) and add a big dose of intuition, plus years of trial-and-error in community building. It’s important to us that a good chunk of the group has real experience in things like communal living, radical self-responsibility, non-violent communication, or sex-positive environments. That way we all know how to support each other - and avoid reinventing the wheel every week.

Everyone signs our agreements before stepping in. Not as red tape, but as a clear “yes” to co-creating a safe space built on trust and full consent.

Tribes in Resonance

We love blending different tribes into one resonant field. Digital Nomads, Artists, Facilitators, Ecovillage dreamers, Sex-Positive explorers, ISTA folks, Radical Faeries, Burners, Contact Dancers, Biodanza movers, Radical Honesty sharers, Love Temple wanderers… and more. When these cultures meet, sparks fly (the good kind). Having people from allied movements in our core community also means we can open doors for their friends to drop by for visits or mini-gatherings, weaving a much bigger tapestry of connection.

Money Without Stress

Money shouldn’t be the boss of who gets to join. So we use a flexible contribution system where each person gives what fits their capacity. Contributions can be financial or practical — help in the kitchen, fixing things, or other communal tasks. This keeps the circle inclusive, prevents money from being a gatekeeper, and makes sure all the daily jobs are handled by trusted hands inside the community, not outsourced strangers. It’s all about keeping the space safe and ours.

Food = Community Fuel

Food is glue. Shared meals are one of the strongest bonds in Resonancia, so we organize food supply and meal prep collectively. Everyone has access to the kitchen for individual or group meals, and on many days we prepare community feasts together. Participation isn’t mandatory, but the magic of gathering around a table is hard to beat: we get fed, we laugh, we care for each other, and the vibe gets stronger bite by bite.
