Infrastructure

Live on this place is dedicated to an experiment of artistic sustainability. Starting with the solar oven, over the bicycle washingmashine, up to the compost toilet, just to put some examples.

We are continously creating and experimenting artistic proyects for sostainable living.
Because of that you will find new elements in our infrastructure each time you visit us. That might be genious mashinery, extraordinary livingspaces or surprising objects witch might not even have a definition still. It's use is also an experimentation just like the whole life at this place.
For that reason, be prepared...
...to enjoy rawfood from our new inovative solarcooker, to feel the drops of the first rain of autum in your bed or to dream of the ocean and pirats when the treehouse is swinging with the winds of springtime.

We use a compost toilet system, which as an alternative to the watercloset, provides a natural fertilizer. Our water doesn't contain clorine or other cemicals. For us that is a advantage.
But by law, water without clorine is not defined as drinkingwater, and not even seen apropiated for beeing used in showers, bath etc.. Thats why oficialy we cant't offer you a shower or a bath.
But for shure we share all the instalations we have. The used water is recycled to irregate the plants. Thats why we just use biodegardable products in a moderate amound. 100% of the electricity that we use comes from solar and hydraulic energy. This energy is a limited resorce and we have to use it consciously, forgeting about uncontrolled consumption of lights and machines and so observe with joy how sun and water serve us with their power.
To keep the valley free of electromagnetic radiation we ask to keep mobilphones turned off.
