The magic sound of infinity

There is a 50 meter long musical string running over the middle point. It is tied on the eucalyptus tree on the other side of the valley. Its sound reaches the pentagonal resonance room through an aluminium stick.

Due to the length of this string, its basic pitch, this means its basic vibration, is so slow that it cannot be heard by the ear, but it can be seen by the eyes.
Simultaneously to its basic pitch every string produces overtones. This is so because of the vibration of the different fragments from the string, and this sounds are higher in its frequency. The sequence of the overtones reach up to the infinity and it has ever been felt as a sensual guide to infinity.
So, you cannot hear the main pitch of this extreme long string, but you can hear even better its overtones. The more distance there is to the main pitch, the closer lie the overtones to each other. They make these spacey undefinable sounds, which carry in themselves a whole world of sound spaces and pitch colours. It is an invitation to fly with them to the infinity.

The space string vibrates with the wind. If you lean your ear towards the aluminium stick, or even better, the wooden panel, you can hear its sound amplified.
You will find also a stick nearby with which you can hit the string. Depending on the way you hit it, different sounds arise. Experiment with the sounds and let yourself be carried by them.

The space string runs over a role along the edge of the Northern platform. There is a stone hanging on it, which tires the string. If you move this big stone, which appears to be hanging without any weight in the air, you can change the strain of the string to change the frequency of the sound.
Sit on the stone and let your weight be part of the sound.
